Earth
Description
The ability to be present with both the breath and any anxiety you experience
Concepts
Being present with fear is the first step toward expanding one's conscious awareness into their blind spots (subconscious)
Mastery Requirements
Basic: Be able to consistently breathe into anxiety
Advanced: Be able to breathe into fear/anxiety even when you do not consciously feel it
Earth
Description
The practice of expanding into the present into one's body
Concepts
All subconscious patterns have both physical and mental components
Releasing control in the mind becomes easier as you release control (tension/restlessness) in the body
Mastery Requirements
Basic: Be able to meditate for 30 minute straight
Advanced: Be able to meditate for 1 hour straight OR be able to relax your entire body
Air
Description
The ability to identify recurring issues as part of a bigger cycle instead of a direct result of external circumstances
Concepts
Cycles are reinforced daily in ways that we are not consciously aware of
Mastery Requirements
Basic: Be able to identify that your current reality is limited due to cycles that you are not aware of
Advanced: Be able to identify cycles from seemingly "normal" behaviors/thoughts
Air - Fire
Description
The ability to identify when one is in fight-or-flight mode
Concepts
Fight-or-flight mode is a biological response designed to protect us from danger
Constant fight-or-flight mode is harmful to the body
Fight-or-flight mode can vary greatly in its expression
Fight-or-flight mode is easy to identify when you consciously feel anxious. However, can you identify it even when you do not consciously feel anxious?
Mastery Requirements
Basic: Be able to identify physical symptoms of fight-or-flight mode
Advanced: Be able to identify fight-or-flight mode solely from subconscious behavioral/thought patterns even when you do not consciously feel anxious
Fire
Description
The ability to identify limiting beliefs
Concepts
Any belief that limits your awareness or the openness of your mind is a limiting belief
Limiting beliefs are dualistic in nature
Limiting beliefs enable thought patterns to run continuously without our conscious input
Mastery Requirements
Basic: Be able to identify basic limiting beliefs/expressions (I can't, I have to, I need to, etc.)
Advanced: Be able to identify the limiting beliefs driving your thought patterns
Water
Description
The ability to identify emotional patterns
Concepts
All unconscious thought/behavioral patterns are based on emotional patterns
Emotional patterns are dualistic in nature
Mastery Requirements
Basic: Be able to identify that your thought/behavioral patterns are based on emotional patterns
Advanced: Be able to identify both sides of the duality in an emotional pattern
